A 360-degree mainstage where LED towers built a skyline above the Bridgewater Jerry, its visuals somewhere between Horseland, Budots and a geolocator pin on the edge of the earth. A dollhouse spitting lasers, where camp met horror. Goblins around every corner. A performance for genuine Chickenfeed customers only, no mainlanders allowed. A plaid nail salon, but only for your pinkie. Neil the Seal versus Phil the Krill, and a penguin ice luge for an Antarctic Adventure. A pyro spectacle feat. DENNI, aka Madam pakana, who put the writing on the wall in flames: a declaration of who owns the main street. A silent-disco headset, a private room, five furries and a narration only you could hear. Ask a local. They’ll tell you the rest.
For NIGHT MASS: DEAD END, Lane Pitcher led the development and delivery of the event's creative direction, shaping the conceptual framework, spatial narrative and audience experience across a temporary nine-stage precinct built for 16,000+ attendees over four nights. Working across creative development, performance curation and large-scale event delivery, her role included developing the project's thematic direction and creative materials; directing the design, lighting, technical and programming teams on the identity, pacing and atmosphere of 19 individual performance and experiential spaces; leading performance curation and working closely with music programming on artist selection, tonal direction and scheduling across the precinct; overseeing artist budgeting, contracting and coordination for 342 artists; and managing large-scale nightly artist operations across the event footprint each night, with a crew of 115+ across production, LX, design and artist services.
