As Event Logistics Manager for SOFT CENTRE’s UNFURL festival, Lane Pitcher oversaw large-scale festival operations across scheduling, transport logistics, volunteer management and accessibility delivery. The role included coordinating all air and ground transport for both the festival and Australian touring artists, recruiting and managing a 40-person volunteer team, and producing a comprehensive 34-page accessibility plan. Lane also contributed to wider organisational strategy through grant writing support, communications consulting and dispute mediation across multiple iterations of the festival.

Her adept management of an extensive team of volunteers and staff was not just effective; it was inspirational.
